i av 2 hd dvd players (1 360)& i av a ps3 so i use blu ray discs.blu ray won.its cus of the ps3.its like vhs&betamax,betamax were beta but lost.hd dvd lost & there beta in my opinion.tho now if u dont give a crap u shud buy a hd dvd player,there far from over,the prices of the movies r very low now.personaly i fink they av beta quality than blu ray discs. look at this...heroes season 1.hd dvd - £12.99standard dvd - £34.99blu ray - expected to be £49.99i made the right choice, wil u?

blu ray is better because you can hold more memory and it would had been better if hddvd came with the 360 elite......

On a 1080p TV it is much better and you could tell the difference!

After you get the Big Boss Emblem, you get all other emblems that are hard to get like Fox, Foxhound, Assasin, and etc when you achieve the big boss Emblem and the rest is pretty much easy. Do you know what I'm sayin'.

I really dont see what the big deal is,i'm sure both have there strong points,Blu-Ray is a top notch format, if your buying a stand alone player,but to keep cost down Sony used a slower player type,Hd-DVDs are still comming out with movies,plus you can get a HD-DVD player for the 360 for arounf 50 bucks,plus youll get a free movie...

it has alot more memory, and some people say the picture is a tiny bit bit better.
