The "Drum Machine" was that big bank of switches in front of Wolfgang-every time he wanted to change a rhythm every switch had to be reset...all the basslines were manually played and they only had a couple of monophonic sequencers-everything else by hand...

Yeah, this was their entire Kling-Klang studio on stage. They spent 3 years making it "portable" so they could go on the road with it.
