(4)In tests, the Hellfire is almost 100% guaranteed to hit their target, but in war things are always slightly harder, and 20% of the missiles fail to hit their target. But this still means that 50 were successful. Leaving the enemy with 50 fewer tanks, APCs, IFVs, helicopters, trucks and artillery pieces. Leaving behind fifty piles of smoking wreckage. And all the enemy saw, if they were lucky, was one radar dome for a few seconds.

(3)The missiles climb up over the ridge line, turn on their radar guidance, identify their targets based on the information gathered by the Apache's radar moments before. Travelling faster than the speed of sound, the missiles take just seconds to reach their target. The flight of four Apaches each carrying 16 missiles each, means 64 weapons have been launched, each one towards a different target, all assigned by the Apache's weapons computer and datalinks.

(2)Next the Apache's data link sends this information to every other Helicopter in their flight. Now the Apaches simultaniously fire their latest model radar guided Hellfires, which have the advantage over the old laser guided ones, of not requiring you to even be able to see your target.

(1)AH-64D, block III. Hovering behind a ridge line, fully hidden from the view of the enemy. The Apache climbs slightly to expose it's radar for a brief moment, enough for one scan, then it sinks back down to be fully hidden again, from sight. This is all that is needed for the AH-64D's radar to automatically identify and classify the position, speed and course of up to 256 targets.

Now Ka-52 will command Mi-28s. Ka-50 is too complex. Mi-28 has 2 man crew and is easier to take care and repair it at the battlefield. Ka-50 will be used by special forces.

Jets like Mig-29, F-15, F-16 has one man crew, and do all the job by themselfs. Helicopters are easier to pilot.

just one word best

"Yeah, it's a great chopper, however there's one think i never did like about the Ka-50... One man crew. ... I think the KA-52 Alligator is a much more cooler, and more capable attack helicopter." they have a squad system in russia, one KA-52 commands a squadron of KA 50´s, it´s the second man in the KA 52 who defines targets, so the KA 50 pilots only have to focus on flying and shooting, with modern fly-by-wire technology it should not be such a problem...

Yeh, plus they have build a two-man version as well ^^ it's a bit larger, but it has the same capabilitiys when it comes to the flying itself
