Well im canadian so i cant vote, but i wouldnt vote for either. The whole "lesser of two evils thing" is what allows retards to get in to office. either vote third party or dont vote. If neither of them run on principles that i agree with then how can i vote for them?
jammar22 (August 19, 2008 at 3:17 am)
noo i mean out of obama or mccain, and yeah i would have voted for ron paul too if i was old enough and if i was american lol
Demian164 (August 19, 2008 at 3:16 am)
Its true that mccain is a complete jackass, and does not represent a true republican whatsoever. but obama really isnt much different, his foreign and economic policies are virtually the same when it comes to the big issues. I would vote for ron paul. There is bob barr a libertarian candidate, but when it comes down to it no one is as principled as ron paul. no one cares about americans as much as he does. the word integrity defines him perfectly haha.

i just looked up those two and i understand those aren't good things, but doesn't mccain stand with bush with most of the things he does? who would you vote for and why then?
jammar22 (August 19, 2008 at 1:59 am)
but i swear he wanted the troops to leave iraq and end the war
trackstrb (August 18, 2008 at 11:27 pm)
exactly.
trackstrb (August 18, 2008 at 11:26 pm)
youre right. barack obama is just another politician.
Demian164 (August 18, 2008 at 8:03 pm)
obama is surely very charismatic, but if you look up his voting record when it comes to foreign policy it really isnt much differnet from mccains. he wants to go into pakistan-b=violating another islamic state's national sovereignty (this time one that actually DOES have nuclear weapons). Also, obama still wants the troops to stay in iraq, and favours permanent bases. he voted for the patriot act, and the FISA bill. look both of these up.

well im still a teenager, and i don't know much about politics but i have been trying my best to understand, but john mccain admits to agreeing with bush about 90% of the time, and bush has led the U.S in a downward spiral in his eight years. And he agrees with the war and even said he wud stay there a hundred years if he has too, i dunno, i really think mccains arrogant, with his stupid fake smile after he tries to talk about obama, im not american, but i wud vote for obama if i cud lol

Ron paul and Dennis kucinich are the two people i was hoping would be elected for the U.S, i may be canadian but the states are a major influence and if they got elected over there and it turned out good then fellow canadians would sart voting for simular people here. The only thing the government is needed for is paying for medical, education needs, city things like roads, and foerign affairs WITHOUT weapons. Weapons should only be used in defence if we get attacked oour land. |
