New Orleans is on pace to have about 30 less murders than last year when we we were the 3rd highest murder rate in the world...so in essence, we had a GOOD year, and will still most likely be the murder capital for the third year in a row...it looks like 2009 might be a safe year...but then again...the National Guard is leaving when this year is over.

i think its the responsibility of every african american (or any race)who has succeeded or is on the right path to go back and help at least one of their own people see the light...no one person can do it alone but if we all make an effort to help our own people we can make a change..our mentality has to change. the fact that we're even discussing it is a step forward because we are acknowledging that their is a problem

come on now,new orleans aint all just about the fuckin projects or wards.New Orleans is about our culture n how strong our city is from goin threw the hardest times n the U.S,like katrina,sure alot of ppl died n rip all of them but we survied it n we are still standing.how come u showing just the projects show the places that every gets along no matter wat ward u 4rm.I`ve seen so many ppl just ignore where they 4rm n get along n the city.
