Thanks for the personal abuse, you must be rock hard posting comments like that from behind your keyboard! As it happens I hate diesels with a passion, but perhaps the last 10 years have passed you by, they've suddenly got quite good, and yes, the CDTI suits the car much better.I'm not a car tester, just a bloke with a camera so i'll take that as a compliment. Finally, learn some grammar and some manners and make one yourself if you can stand the comments.Kind regardsNick Hine

I have a 2005 CR-V EX with a 5 speed manual transmission. I love it! I live in the mountains of WV where we also know alot about snow and the all wheel drive is fantastic! The car has plenty of power and handles nicely. It looks bland, but is extremely \practical. The new CR-V is ugly. The rear side quarter panel windows don't go with the car design at all and the front end looks like it has multiple personalities. A manual transmission is not available in the new ones either. yuck!

Would be more attractive in the US with a turbo diesel.

my dad went car shopping one day and arrived home with a black cr-v, upon hopping into my talon tsi, i was admiittedly jealous of the quality he had over my car. after the talon gave out on me at 154,000 miles, i gladly sold it for 800 bucks, and have a honda accord :) a much better vehicle :D

We had snow on the test and it was impossible to tell when it switched to 4WD, it was impressive. Also the 2WD camera car almost crashed several times trying to keep up and yet in the CRV it all felt very serene and easy.CheersNick Hine

the 2007 model is great but styling looks a little bit experimental, many people still prefer the 2nd generation (2001-2006), aesthetic -wise and performance wise... it will always be a classic and still be the one cr-v look that will flash into people's minds for many years to come
