He is so gracious even in defeat, a true champion. I cried at the end of this final because he looked so heartbroken (with good reason) but I hope this just spurs him on for Wimbledon 2009.

aww, I almost cried at the end of the final because he looked so sad. As much as I love him, I don't think he just have used the darkness excuse because nadal was playing in the same conditions. I hope he gets in next year and avenges his loss.

thats really specious reasoning. he finally got it together only in the semi against djokovic. and that was after losing in the olympics to james blake. he woulda gotten his game back immediately if he'd won wimbledon. his only enemy is his own head. and as for whats best. 6 straight wimbledons is the best. he'd trade anything to have had that

its slower, but i don't thing its as close to clay as ur saying. I think the softness of the court is what really helps nadal (same with clay*) as opposed to hard courts, which have given him some serious knee issues*not saying this is why he wins on either surface, just helps

i don't really blame him... it looked dark on the television, and if it looks dark on a GLOWING PLASMA SCREEN, its probably darker there
