phlaun; you have to be in extremely great physical shape to join Marine Recon or MarSOC. Yes you must be able to run 3 miles in under 18 minutes. A buddy of mine was in MarSOC and he weighs about 225 and ran it in under 15 minutes so it may be difficult but it's not impossible.

this is what somebody named "Xyclonex" told me after i saw him talkin shit about marines and calling them pussies.... so i emailed him and he emalied back with this......"say it to a marines face fuck that i fuck his wife while his ass is in fucking war fighting and probaby get his ass blown up"........so type in "Xyclonex" and talk to him about it he wont quit emailing me

The only thing I can tell you about that is that after BCT you go to SOI because every Marine's a rifleman. Can't tell you about that MOS. Use google, there are a lot of forums about the Marine Corps.Or like I said go to see your recruiter. And I suggest it's the best thing.

well thats been nearly 25 years ago! but i almost joined the DEP, but wanna see which way i lean in life first, its my senior year this year, but i am leaning on the marines, and an MOS of public affairs, know anything on how thats done? school u go to? any bit would help.
