Looking at both FFXIII and versusXIII, this is what I came up with. Since they share the same numeral, they must have some sort of connection. XIII seems to be brighter, and they seem to have plenty of resources. Versus is another story, empire battling for the last crystal (which is a source of power). Methinks XIII has an abundance of crystals and Versus has a severe shortage.
