koutro you poof what relevance does income have to how good a sport is. if thats the case forget about soccer and start worshiping american sporting hero's. if you think soccer pays well just have a look at NBA MLB and NFL stars make they wouldnt even consider getting out of bed for ronalo's paultry pay packet. Because and over the hill reject cant see the skill and courage required for this sport means it isnt there? ha! not likely. I have played both codes and can say with which one blows!

that without referee bribing match fixing and drug cheating isbad enoug the oldest british football team is sheffield united 1889 a tad older than melborune fc Dude your already being embarrest and im just in from a heavy night imagine me sober and actually trying how much i could embarress your pathetic sport at 46 years of age im sure there are better things you could be doing with your time you jobless loser Did i mention the observer headline 'british pedeophiles that shame british football'

hey fuckwit, did you know that soccer has a GAY world cup. Ironic isnt it considering 99% of players love the cock, secondly soccer takes no skill, most games end without a result why do you think fans sing at games they are bored. Its dishonesty is rife, the ref bribing in the italian leagues for starters plus many simialir examples in EPL. The british paper the observer among others have story's detailing drug cheating in brithis football. I mean the whole sport rewards diving...

As for Manchester United, they make more money alone than the entire AFL put together. You can walk through the city of Melbourne and see a Man Utd top on many kids, you wont see any AFL tops being worn in Manchester.. your entitled to enjoy AFL, just like i am entitled to enjoy my code. but if your going to stat bagging soccer for whatever reason i have two bits of advice for you.. 1) get your facts right and 2) don't bag a sport you know little about...

Sorry to burst your bubble here grim0033 but Australian Rules football was first played in 1858. Association Football (soccer) in it's modern form was played in 1848 in British Universities. So the term Football was NOT the AFL's. As for your opinion on people tricking the ref. open your eyes and have a look at how many players are doing it in the AFL.

AFL is the oldest registered code of football in the world. As the oldest it was obvioulsy the first code to officially use the word football in its make up then soccer fans have the cheek to steal our name! doesnt surprise considering the rewarding of dishonesty in that game, rewarding diving PMSL I nearly forgot to mention the many gay antics in soccer such as the fondling of paul gascoynes testicles by vinnie jones, who just giggled while vinnie was cupping his 'boys'

I hear manchester united is offically hiring acting coaches to enhance their chances of winning more matches, obvioulsy all soccer players have been practicing their acting skills for years but now they officially class drama teachers as 'skills coaches' PMSLNow thats a skilless sport having to rely on feigning injury and pain to win the ball, never mind just honing your craft and becoming good at your sport, we'll just do our best to 'trick' the ref into giving us free kicks and penalties!

Some senseless hitting in here, it's ok I guess but will never be as big as the NFL, Football or Rugby.
