unless you live in a third world country why would you pick wood over composite? Unless it is a nice carved stock, that's different.

Great job! I especially liked the way she used proper terms for all the parts.I'm an experienced shooter but new to AR15s. I used her video to learn the break-down sequence.(I have to admit I got a bit aroused watching the cute lady shake the bolt carrier.)I'm going to see if she has more videos to help me through the cleaning process.

No if you prefer an AK that is fine with me.I was referring to your statement about field stripping of an AR looking complicated. There is a video on here of a 11yo girl field stripping one so it must not be that complicated. Right?And to answer your question about my knowledge of guns. I can tell you that only a small portion of the parts on an AR are actually plastic/nylon and that those same parts can also be plastic/nylon on an AK.
