u know the director sofia coppola..doesnt even know what they said...she just told bill to whisper in her ear. She stated only bill and scarlett know what they said, I have the script I won from an auction that an oscar voter got and it doesnt mention the whisper, although after 5 years this is the best explanation.

To be honest, if it wasn't for her comment (among other things) "Well, she is closer to your age" after he slept with the singer and the kiss on the lips at the end, I'd have considered it more of a "father/daughter" relationship movie. But as that was more of a jealousy comment, it makes me think it's more a "love" relationship.
