In the same tone there are loads of white musicians not getting signed up due to the shit factor and other manufactured processes. Northern soul is a white/black movement, the same as ska music. it is a dual process influenced by both cultures.

Real musicians, ones that do it for nothing or passion, do not have race arguments, we all play together share music and ideas & work together for the good of the music, for the love of the music. You like a song, you sing along. if that song is not within your race or culture should you not be singing it? Have you been out in a city & seen the massive amount of musicians that are truly truly talented & never get a shot at even the small time let alone the big time? If the music industry was as racist as she portrays believe me Estelle being the mediocre performer she is would not get anywhere!Im a musician & ive been trying to get my music signed up, as well as working to get local bands & friends signed up. It doesnt happen, its nothing to do with race or talent,simply how marketable you are
