The song may be simple? In who's mind? but I think for a singer it would be difficult to capture, the emotion, style for the average person. I am not sure I like her style. Take the song and make it your own, I think that is best and that is what we try to do as singers in the first place(except in VEgas) The lyrics are interesting. Music is music. Nothing mysterious about that, make it your own if your are a performer, and enjoy the hell out of it if you are just a listener......

you will be able to , I am sure :). I like playing them on guitar but i hate singing her songs because they are so simple yet she makes them sound so amazing with just her voice. Its so unique, thats why i think she can get away with simple chords. she puts a lot of soul into her...singing. yeah. i think.
