The original video of Mad World. (the one by Gary Jules, of course. By original, I meant the actual Gary Jules one, not the Donnie Darko one. There. Happy? I am heavily aware of the fact that TFF did a video long before Gary. I knew before I posted the video. You'd think that one of the progenitor of the video would know these things.) Throughout the video children are making animated figures on the sidewalk below. (the song was featured in the movie Donnie Darko. If you haven't seen it, seriously consider it.)

this version sounds alot better than tears for fears it sounds like it should be slow like this

i think all in the mist that this song or "version" is better, slow and soft rather that beats of techno capture the reason and "newer" outlook to the remake of Tears For Fears video, Thanks. Gary, keep up the good work. :}

No, This Isn't The Original. The One By Tears For Fears Is The Original.
Gtargrrl95 (September 6, 2008 at 1:17 am)
um isnt this the original and if not,this is better than tears for fears a WHOLE lot better

This Is So Much Better Than The Original! Gary Is Able To Sing The Song At A Pace That Gives It More Emotion. Also I Think That The Music Goes Along Perfect With His Singing.

Donnie Darko is my favorite movie and, moreover, it turned me on to this song. Both are depressing as hell, but also provocative enough to make me question the value of life, love, and humanity itself. Should I be grateful? All I know is I'm respectful.
