i agreeactualy to the other person who said those migrant people are disgusting in beijing. it is shanghai which has most those types (labour ones). beijing has wai di ren (ie high skilled people coming in from neighbouring cities and from large rural areas of beijing because it is sparse.

I was born in mainland but I like people from HK nonetheless. Most of HK folks I met were friendly and educated, very pleasant to be around. I'm very proud of HK's achievement as well as mainland China's, in economic terms. There's absolute no reason to bash one another as we're brothers and sisters in culture and in spirit and we should help and support one another to prosper.
