He is a comedian hence the loud and silly but why can't one be both smart and silly. That is what makes this guy so awesome!

Jon should do these kind of shows instead of his regular show.He is so loud and silly on the daily show, he could do much better than that

Yeah I agree that the people who watch The Daily Show/The Colbert Report already know about the issues they're talking about, otherwise you wouldn't understand the jokes at all. I definitely didn't watch them as much a year ago, but now that I'm old enough to vote I'm more interested in current events and I've been watching their shows a ton more.
