My friend Eli is responsible for busting the Food Network/McDonalds subliminal advertisement wide open. Sorry for the shitty VHS but it was the best I could do when asked to record this at short notice.

you guys are wrong... A subliminal ad that only affects the subconscious is I well done subliminal ad, McDonalds wants you to subconciously crave its nasty ass burgers and fries... thats why its called a SUBLIMINAL message. And I also agree that no commercials nowadays show a big red screen with "i'm loving it" on it... who has seen a commercial start like that ???

I have never, ever, EVER seen a TV station screw up before! OBVIOUSLY A CONSPIRACY LOOK TO THE SKIES FOR CHEMTRAILS AND 9/11 WAS AN INSIDE JOB BY THE MCDONALD'S CABAL

let me just ask you logical thinkers true maybe it wasnt the proper time for a subliminal message but when have you seen a macdonalds commercial start up like that now a days.

i dont know how this is bad...i mean like...its just a short flash! probably a mistake or sumtin! maybe...they were supposed to play it as a commercial but they played it too early...DUDES...TECHNICAL ERROR ONLY!

the funny thing about this is that Mcdonalds was partnered with iron chief America lol. so i guess its JUST a coincidence that there was a mcdonalds message pop up............nnooot

Pretty sure it got slowed down. 2 Frames (1 30th of a second, as mentioned in the news report) is quicker than that flash.
Goatmon (October 15, 2008 at 7:32 am)
Pretty sure they slowed down the ONE FRAME where it is visible. They state specifically that it's only visible for 1/30th of a second.Since TV runs at 60 frames a second, that means it was on screen for a whopping 2 frames.

I agree completely. Honest mistake. A subliminal ad wouldn be fast, to the point, and detectable only to the subconscious. The kid wasn't quick-eyed, he was just paying attention to a show he liked. |
