Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Kenya - FIDH Mission

Recent events in Kenya were predictable. Since January 2007, FIDH has been sounding the alarm about the ethnic clashes orchestrated by political parties, both prior to and following the elections in Kenya. This short documentary, filmed by FIDH in January 2007, illustrates the struggle of internally displaced persons (IDPs) in a displaced camp near Naïvasha, where 300 families have been living since 1992 in harsh conditions, forbidden even from farming the land.
