Terminator 2: Judgment Day was released in theaters in 1991, and starred Arnold Schwarzenegger (well known for films such as Conan the Barbarian).Many challenging video games based on the Terminator franchise have been published for various formats, including personal computers, home consoles and handhelds. Some of these include Sega Genesis, Master System, Super NES, Game Gear, Gameboy, and Gameboy Advance, as well as Playstation 2. There was even a Williams pinball machine of Terminator 2: Judgment Day, and a Midway arcade version of Terminator 2. There is a new title in the works (Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins [title pending]) for PC, Nintendo DS, Sony PSP, and PS3.
