I do enjoy though that bandai learnt from their previous crappy games, notably the CTJ game on SNES. CT games just don't work in real time. I believe the CT games by Tecmo were the best, too bad they only owned the CT first arc license only, which is why they had to create non canonical story and players for their games.

do you guys realize that one match is 1 hour? The cinematics only take around 5-10 minutes overall. I don't like this captain tsubasa game though. Sure it's impressive but it's only about the first arc (there are four arcs in CT, CT being one, world youth (ct j in anime), road to 2002 (same name in anime) and finally golden 23 which is still being published in manga in japan), which I believe is because Bandai Namco only owns the license for the anime series while Konami owns the manga series.
