quality i think that guy would be a cool neighbour. just nip round for a cuppa, have a game of chess and chat about eternal life etc... twould be funny and interesting. and he needs a friend i reckon

This starts out funny but has quite a dark and tragic undertone (like a lot of Gervais' projects). Karl's interviewing technique is actually very clever, whether he realises it or not

Karl is Great!The old man is afraid of dying, there for hes fooled himself that he will live forever. then Karl come by and insted of questioning him living forever, he ask him about the problems living forever... looked to me that howard was thinking in the end: death might hot be that bad after all... haha karl is a genius...
