HD-DVD is dead, the hi-def format war is finally over, toshiba conceded and has announced it's stopping production.What's left for a sucker to do byt destroy his HD-DVD xbox 360 player in fire?looks like SONY just had more money to throw around buying off studios and retailers for its version of a hi definition content disk. whatever, so long as we can have something before all physical media is made utterly obsolete by the awesomeness of online digital delivery. Enjoy your short lived victory Sony.

am laughting you LOL mine costed £10 and hd dvds are £4 thats cheaper than dvd and it don't matter that blu ray won because have a combi drive for my pc £60 on scan but the day i pay £20 odd for something that am only to watch once and only the same quality has hd dvd is the day that insert a dead racoons penis into my anus

Your totally wrong, the reason HD-DVD died is because some German hacker cracked the hd-dvd codec enabling you to download it to your computer........ And you can ebay your hd-dvd drive for $45+ on eBay.

blunty..if u brought a PS3 in the first place instead of a Xbox like a tosser..which u clearly are..u wouldnt have that problem..also id like to point out u say in ur discription box that Sony threw money around 2 the studio's and retailers..may i remind u that microsoft was paying stuido's and the likes 50mil to use HD-DVD instead of blu ray? talk about throwing around money..oh and u think disc format will be obsolete? is that before or after u fill ur harddrive every 2nd week??
