k the bottom line is that Mcgrady is a better and more talented player than kobe. no question.mcgrady is the most talented player in the NBA besides 2 other names. Allen Iverson and Vince Carter.Mcgrady is one of the most well rounded players in the history of the game. and his 13 points in 33 seconds is the best basketball performance in the history of the world besides Wilt's 100 points.

McGrady in 02-03 was an offensive juggernaught and hands down the best shooting guard in the NBA. Unfortunately, he lacked the necessary work-ethic to realize his full potential and has since been plagued with injuries - a direct result of not strengthening his body in the off-season.This is exactly what sets Kobe Bryant apart from his competition and why he's been dominating the NBA year after year.
